Eye medical camp was organized by The Art of Living at Dharavi center today. Kudos to the volunteers as 200+ people benefited from the camp. As an upcoming initiative cataract operation will also be done free of cost.

Art of Living Dharavi Centre took the initiative to reach to the women's of the Dharavi slum who have no social or financial support but want to grow in life,
The Course name was women leadership training program, this course was conducted by Prashant Vhatkar, the Dharavi coordinator.
Women who participated in this program have been given training on project Pavitra & E-Commerce social for opening business online sessions.
They all are from different backgrounds some of them are housewives & some are working in Anganwadi as helpers, job & some are studying.


Our teacher Prashant Vhatkar ji has been awarded the Best Social Worker awarded by Dharavi Sahkar Pathpedi!


On 18 Aug in Dharavi, on behalf of IAHV and #From U2Them, study tabs were distributed to the children of 500 BMC schools of Dharavi in the presence of minister Aditya Thackeray, Kiran dighavkar - Asstt Commissioner G/North ward and Rahul Ramesh Shewale - member of parliament
Tree Plantation Drive by Mumbai Team
The Mumbai team joined hands to carry Gurudev's vision of Moringa plantation. The team in the month of July planted 3000 saplings of Moringa. A big thank you to the Maharashtra Apex body for the support!
Moringa helps fight malnutrition. Moringa leaves are an excellent source of many vitamins and minerals. They are also rich in Antioxidants. It may reduce Inflammation and may also help in Lower Blood Sugar Levels! Moringa Can Lower Cholesterol too.
Plus on top of all this the plantation helped to make the earth a greener planet!
Ration kits distribution
Advocate Nainesh Amin and Team with the help of Reshma ji & team distributed Ration kits to transgender at Dharavi ( 26 kits ) and Antop Hill (17 kits) respectively on 10 June

Art of living, Change Within & Zerodha jointly organised a free vaccination drive for members of Media & Entertainment industry in mumbai.

On 30th January 2021, IAHV set off to distribute Groceries and truckload of smiles, positivity & joy to tribals in karjat. The happiness of the people at the receiving end knew no bounds.

Dharavi creates a Sampark Kendra Zone
Dharavi on 4th April began its drive to inaugurate 50 Sampark Kendras in the presence of 7 nagar palika sanchalaks, courtesy to our dynamic teacher Prashant Vhatkar ji.
Dharavi is now a strong representative and pillar of the Art of Living. It will act as an information center to the thousands in the area. It will be a 'go to place' to know anything and everything about Art of Living courses, activities, events and projects. Kudos to the efforts behind it and many congratulations to everyone involved!

Happiness Knocking....
The Art of Living conducted a 3 day Happiness Program for 200 sex workers from Kamatipura, Mumbai. Adequate measures were taken and social distancing was also practiced. The program was facilitated by Reshma Parabji
On the last day of the program, each and every participant was handed over foodgrain packets which consisted of 5 kg wheat flour, 5 kg rice,2 kg dal, 1 kg sugar, salt and oil, which will be sufficient for 25 days.
Social worker, Smt Parvati Khanduriji had taken this initiative and encourage us to conduct this program.
The women had lost hope and were in a lot of distress due to no income for their basic needs. The breathing techniques, meditation taught in The Art of Living program helped them overcome their depression.
Towards the end of the program all women were very happy & they felt very light and relaxed. Some of them also expressed their interest to start their life anew!

A thoughtful act by IAHV and BMC
The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) is the service arm of the Art of Living. IAHV focuses on empowering people and communities, with inclusive and sustainable development interventions, fostering universal human values.
3rd Dec 2020 was the annual observance of the World Disability Day. IAHV and the BMC observed this day by distributing foodgrains to disabled people.
A helping hand amongst the chaos
Amidst the trying time of the Covid-19, volunteers of the Art of Living foundation have taken a step further by personally visiting the patients infected with the Coronavirus in the Covid-19 Care facility. Three such volunteers - Mayuresh, the coordinator along with Pramod dada and Vinayak Shete ji, the teachers of the Art of Living foundation took the initiative of conducting yoga and meditation sessions for 600 Covid-19 patients at NMMC (Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation) Covid Care Hospital, in Vashi


Unlocked from Within
An electrifying Dharavi Speical Volunteer Training Program was conducted with Vanadana Bangera assisted by Prashant. The participants truly challenged themselves and broke their boundaries. And what's the result of this enthusiasm ? Health and Happiness workshop that reached to near 1000 people !

ACF(Ambernath Citizen Forum), Art of Living Ambernath and NSM associates with TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL MUMBAI for a blood donation camp
Two camps were organised, on 4th and 11th October
In all 126 blood bags were collected during the campaign

Dabbawalas gets a visit by Royal Norwegian Consulate General - Arne Jan Flolo
Royal Norwegian Consulate General - Arne Jan Flolo visited Mumbai Dabbawalas at Dadar office. Chief Spokesperson of Dabbawalas , Shri Vishnu Kaldoke thanked him for helping the Ambassadors by expressing thanks to all the team of ′′ From You to Them ′′ and distributed ration to the Dabbawalas workers at Andheri and Dadar
IAHV continues the good work
9,000 cloth masks,5000 Immunity Kits handed over to Thane Municipal Corporation. 200 PPE kits, 5000 filter masks, 1950 N95 masks, 400 faceshields, 200 sanitizers and 100 infrared thermometers were provided to Sion Hospital through the Maharashtra Association for Residential Doctors

A Surprise for Dharavi
1100 indoor games kits were distributed in Dharavi for children to avoid them from going out and keeping them busy. This project was a collaboration of Dream sports, fromu2them, IAHV and Art of Living Mumbai


IAHV has supplied medical equipments, medicines, sanitation equipments, oximeters,face shields, disposable aprons.
Their association with Maharashtra Association of Residential Doctors who have representation all across Maharashtra enabled IAHV to reach out to remote districts like Gadchiroli, Beed, Nanded etc with supplies of PPEs, N-95 masks, Face shields, etc with over Rs 25.00 lakhs.
